Attending a polo match has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. I grew up riding horses and, as a child, I always thought that playing polo looked like a blast. As an adult, attending a polo match seemed equally as enticing although for more grown-up reasonings. When else do you have a chance to dress to the nines and sip champagne on a hot summer afternoon? This summer, the Oregon Polo Classic truly indulged my childhood love for fast horses and my adulthood love for a relaxing yet exciting afternoon. Win-win.
The Second Annual Oregon Polo Classic took place at Hidden Creek Polo Field in West Linn, Oregon is a gorgeous polo pitch located 25-minutes south of Portland.
It was such a fun afternoon watching the match, enjoying a delicious lunch by Art of Catering, cheering on the parade of hats (photos below!), and participating in the traditional divot stop. The Oregon Polo Classic was a blast and I'd highly recommend attending if you have the chance. Keep an eye on the official website for future polo match dates.
